Activities |

Completion of the third program to promote citizens participation in the budget
process in Russia.

Working with independent public experts and NGO leaders; and promoting
applied budget analysis.

Evaluation of transparency in the budget process and citizens
participation with the use of an adapted International Monetary Foundation tool. The
project is taking place in St.Petersburg, Petrazavodsk, Pskov, Velikije Luki, Murmansk,
Samara, Novosibirsk and Yuzno-Sakhalinsk, where methodical recommendations, documents and
expert consultations are requested and used as well as in more than 20 other Russian
regions. Results on this project can be found on our website along with 15
publications released on our monthly Information Bulletin.
