Expenditure information is listed by function (by defense, education, health, social security and welfare, housing, economic services, interest, and other government services) as well as by economic type.

Government Outlays for OECD countries — Table listing budget information (in terms of final consumption, social security, debt interest, investment, and other transfers) for 1970, 1980, 1990, and 1996 for OECD countries. Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.

IMF staff country reports — A variety of statistical, economic, and some budget information for a variety of countries.  Full texts available, but different sorts of data are available for different countries.  Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.

IMF Data Dissemination Standards Bulletin — Contains standardized economic data for some of the countries that have agreed to IMF standards of data dissemination. Some 47 countries have agreed to the standards, with on-line information available for 17 of them.  Budget data include only general revenue, expenditure, deficit, and financing information.
