UNIFEM Asia-Pacific and Arab States Regional Programme for Engendering Economic Governance — This site offers useful resources and examples to make national statistical systems more responsive to gender differences in the definition, collection, and analysis of data.

Gender Responsive BudgetsThe United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) Governance and Peace-building Program includes a site for gender budgets. This reflects on the collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat, and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) to create the Gender Responsive Budgets Initiatives (GRBI).

The Gender Responsive Budget Initiatives (GRBI) — GRBI is a collaborative effort between the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), The Commonwealth Secretariat and Canada's International Development Research Centre (IDRC), to support government and civil society in analyzing national and/or local budgets from a gender perspective and applying this analysis to the formulation of gender responsive budgets.

High Level Conference on Gender Responsive Budgeting: A Global Vision to Strengthen Economic Governance — Finance ministers, government officials, independent experts, and non-governmental organizations from over 43 countries attended the conference held in Brussels on October, 2001 to achieve political and financial support for gender responsive budgets.

The South African Women's Budget — Information on a joint initiative in South Africa to promote expenditure reprioritization towards women's needs.

The Women's Budget Group (WBG) — The WBG is an independent UK organisation bringing together academics and people from non-governmental organisations and trades unions to form a network of experts to promote gender equality through appropriate economic policy. The WBG aims to encourage the government to use gender analysis to improve its economic policy making.

The Commonwealth Gender Budget Initiative by the Commonwealth Secretariat — Assists governments to integrate gender into all their activities, primarily through the development of the Gender Management System (GMS) concept. It focuses on integrating gender into the national budget through the application of the policy tools developed by the Secretariat; collecting and using sex-disaggregated data; and strengthening dialogue between stakeholders.
