The Youth Association for Development (YAD) is a youth lead, peace building civil society initiative based in Baluchistan, Pakistan. The group’s mission is to promote and protect peace, social and interfaith harmony, democracy, human rights, and social development in Pakistan through mobilization, awareness, research, dialogues, advocacy and trainings.

Budget  work includes:

A budget tracking survey of 200 primary, middle & high schools in the district of Loralai; a pre-budget consultation meeting on transparency & social accountability in the education sector; an awareness program on demanding budget transparency and social accountability in the education sector; and forming the Education Budget Watch Group at the district and provincial level to monitor and evaluate the education sector budget and advocate for more education funds.
